| Kinetix Q Fork |
|
| To develop our revolutionary new suspension
fork, we partnered with German-A, the same suspension specialists
that conceived the suspension on the Specialized Epic. The Kinetix
Q fork features a parallelogram design that drives a suspension unit
in the steerer tube. Compared to other fork designs on the market,
the Q is light, extremely stiff, and superbly supple. The path of
fork travel more closely matches the angle at which road deformities
hit the front wheel. And unlike telescopic fork designs that are inherently
susceptible to stiction, the Q is largely stiction free. The design
of the fork inhibits brake dive for improved handling. The Q fork
features our patented Fusion coupling system that integrates the fork,
frame and handlepost. |
