With no end in sight to rising petrol prices, the trend for
hybrid cars and alternative transportation - like bicycling
                  - continues to grow. Spanish designer Josep Mora has combined
the two solutions in his latest eco-friendly design, a hybrid
sports car that incorporates a folding bike into its structure.

A folding bicycle delivered to your hotel? Thats
the concept of Trixi Groups bike delivery service in Barcelona,
Spain. Putting a spin on conventional bike rentals from a shop,
Trixis delivery service brings the bike to the customer
taking reservations either online or by phone. We want
to make it easy for our customers. By bringing the bike to them,
they dont have to waste time looking around for a shop,
says Trixi Group president Gerald Caspari. We want to
                  be the Easy-Rent-a-Car of bikes.

A happy new year and hearty hello to everybody! Although we
had record sales in 2003, we can't wait to put war, natural
disasters, and SARS (hopefully) behind us. We're incredibly
excited about our 2004 product range - by far our best collection
of bikes ever. We have loads of new technology, some exciting
design partnerships, and hundreds of improvements to show you.
Many of the improvements we've made to our bikes were suggested
directly by our customers - thanks and keep the feedback coming!

Dahon California, Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of
folding bicycles, today announced that UK sales had jumped more
than 40% over the year earlier period since the implementation
of the London congestion charge. Put into effect on February
17, 2003 the London congestion charge requires motorists to
pay £5 for driving within the city center. The objective
is to reduce gridlock in the city and encourage people to use
                  alternative forms of transportation. |
