| This is the favorite drive train
of our Product Design Group. SRAM's DualDrive system combines
a silky smooth 3 spd. gear hub with a 7-speed derailleur for
21 speeds and a stunning gear range wider than any road bike.
The DualDrive hub is the smoothest riding gear hub on the market
and an added bonus is that it can be shifted even at a stop,
so those starts from a red light are a lot easier. A simple
one-handed shifter controls both the hub and derailleur. New
for this year is a mid-cage X7 rear derailleur specially made
for us by SRAM. The X7 is lighter, stiffer and shifts more precisely
than last year's version. The mid-cage design allows more ground
clearance. |
